This electro-pop duo’s debut is an impressive demonstration of talent. Ultimate Donny’s vocals rival any on mainstream rock radio, programming mastermind Gil Mantera’s beats are impeccably constructed and it’s all topped off with a helping of bizarre macho humor. What Bloodsongs lacks is truly infectious hooks. It comes off as more a technical exercise than a veritable pop gem. - WY
